I would just recommend not putting news ie CNN on the tv. Dinner is a calming, escapism and having the news on TV definitely kills the vibe. Other than that, beautiful restaurant and service! Thank you View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tallulah Wine Bistro:
After many years of dinning at Tallulah, our recent experience was the biggest disappointment by far. The NY strip steak was over cooked and served cut in half (was it returned by another customer and served to us? The fries looked and tasted like day old. The lamb shops were overcooked, fatty with very little meat. They were ordered medium rare and served well done. At $52, dish was mediocre at best. Based on all of... View all feedback.
Best Upscale Happy Hour! We came for Happy Hour and it was great. The charcuterie board was delicious and well thought out. I can't exaggerate how great the old fashion was for happy hour. Sat at the bar and perfectly comfortable. Excellent service. Great selection all around. It'll be back for dinner.
This place is exceptional! I'm an extremely picky eater and only went with my team. The Cacio e Pepe was so good and even their apps were delicious! They even had a wine I enjoyed very much! Must visit!
This review is from a visit in January 2020 during the Bham Restaurant Week. We had dinner reservations for four people at 19:00. Unfortunately, a couple and their kindergarten have dimmed for more than three hours, which delayed our seats to 7:30. The host was very apologetic and gave us regular updates as we waited what we appreciated. When we finally sat, the manager came by to apologize and put a free laundry board on the table that we all enjoyed with the free bread basket (good crusty stuff with whipped butter). I ordered the calal salad that tasted well with cranberries and seeds, but the butternut Squash Bisque tasted so much better. My Steak frites were cooked medium and delicious, but I wasn't a fan of their French fries. They weren't very crispy. The namelaka mousse Dessert was super decadent. I regret not ordering a digestive tract. I barely touched it because it was so rich. The Sorbet trio would have been a better choice because I'm not a big dessert fan. Very intimate and romantic atmosphere. I loved the tree chandelier who looked dreamy as if I were sitting in a fairy tale garden. Excellent wine list.
This is fine dining with a cool atmosphere! This was the best halibut, I've ever had! Can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!
