Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse-birmingham, Mi

Very pleasant surprise. One of the best steaks I've ever had and I've had steaks all over the world. Bone-in was charred and cooked to a perfect medium. Oysters we're pretty good. Mac and cheese/creamed spinach were ok. Drinks were on point. Service from Ethan was excellent! Nice ambiance as well.

Our experience was wonderful!! Genevieve was our server tonight and she was absolutely great. Highly recommend!

Came for a birthday dinner and had a great time. Kayla, our waitress was very attentive and did a great job juggling a bunch of tables. It honestly felt like she was only serving us by how good she is. Food was delicious as always and the drinks were great. Love coming here and will definitely be back and ask for Kayla!

My husband, daughter and I approached the host stand to dine in, and I agree it was a very busy time, but the ladies mocked us with “we don’t have anything for 2.5 hours”, in a tone that how dare we even ask for a seat, very rude. We literally stood there, opened the OpenTable app and was able to get a reservation immediately, so literally turned around back to the host stand, telling them we got a reservation. Needless to say our meal and dining experience was wonderful. But these ladies need to be a bit more respectful. We have been coming to Hyde Park since its inception, including hosting private events for family and friends. We plan to return, because we love the atmosphere, food and drinks. But the attitude was very uncomfortable and not needed. Your establishment should exceed service expectations from the moment we walk in the door.

I had the most delicious, medium filet at this restaurant with bearnaise and lobster on top. So very good! The only damper on the evening was our waitress, who seemed very annoyed with any question or request.
