Sidecar - Birmingham

Interesting place. You have 3 experiences in one. Shift is my Fav, but Side Car is perfect for just relaxing. We really don't hang at the pizza place next door, but in the late night it's not a bad place to escape the crowd.

Highly recommended. Food and service were both good. Recommend getting a few appetizers (Brussels sprouts, duck tongue) to share for 2-3 people, then each getting 2 sliders. Everything was good and outdoor seating was cool.

Cool little spot in Downtown Birmingham. Drinks were pretty good. Service was good. Didn’t eat any food but accumulated over a bill in drinks. Music playing in the background 80’-low 90’s, the younger crowd was at the sister restaurant Sift (slightly smaller bar, tightly squozen, playing more current hip hop/pop.

The service was outstanding! In my opinion, the pizza could have used a bit more cheese, but the drinks and other items we ordered were absolutely delicious!

We highly recommend visiting this restaurant for their sliders! As soon as we arrived at the bar, we tried a few, and our favorites were the Dirty Bird and the Pulled Pork Slider. If you get the chance, definitely try the pretzel bites and duck strips as appetizers. If the weather is nice in the summer, I suggest sitting outside on the terrace. Overall, it was a delightful experience—10 out of 10!
