River Fish Market - Birmingham

They have some of the best fresh fried fish in the Birmingham area. The jumbo shrimp are also always super awesome! It's hidden away but is a true gem in the city for good fresh seafood. I always forget to post pictures because I eat it so fast. ??

Customer service is a No! I ordered 2 whole catfish combo fried hard. Well it was fried so hard couldn't eat it and it had a spoiled smell to it got about 8 maybe 10 fries don't go here and waste your money. Some of pictures on here are not true this is a hole in the wall place .I just wasted $28!!!!!

I always buy my fresh catfish ocean perch red snapper and large shrimp from here. Don't judge a book by its cover.

I have been a customer of this restaurant for years. However on today I purchased a meal and spent over $15 and there was hair in my plate. I notified the manager and he offered no apology or replacement meal whatsoever. Very disappointed and disgusted and next time I will hesitate before giving them my business and money again!

This is not the same Rivers Fish that I have known for over 15-20 years Market….?Maybe new owners! It’s dirty and the person on the inside state she couldn’t let me in to purchase fresh fish. Be Careful
