P.f. Chang’s – Birmingham

Took my daughter and her friends here for her 11th bday it was by her request. The staff went above and beyond. Quick service, great wine for mom and the food was very good. We loved the dumplings and the chicken egg rolls.

They didn't have our reservation and i showed them my open table confirmation and they were rude and we had to wait until 6 to get our table and didnt have that it was my husband's bday

I booked a table for my mothers birthday. We arrived at the time of our reservation and preceded to wait for another half hour before we were seated. There were people who had arrived just before me, that I was behind in line, and they were told about the wait as they had no reservations and were seated before us. Isn 't the point of having a reservation so I don 't have to wait and can be seated BEFORE the people who are walk-ins? When I spoke to the hostess about it, her excuse was that they had no polished silverware and therefore could not seat us.... In a very angry frustrated tone told me we 're doing the best we can and this was said with no apology afterwards. That doesn 't mean you can 't seat me, let me order drinks, and perhaps get an order for appetizers in with the kitchen. It was a poor excuse and I was very angry about the situation. The only saving grace was the waiter who was very nice and funny. I spent 200$ on this trip alone but will not be back.

The Singapore Chicken was just ok. Not bad, but not outstanding either.

We had a wonderful time and the food was delicious! The Walnut Honeydew Shrimp was our favorite, and it paired well with the Wok Filet Mignon and Pepper Chicken. Our little brother enjoyed his birthday dessert and the special hand written card from the restaurant employees.
