The pizza I ordered arrived quickly and was fresh. I wish I had caught the name of the delivery person because he was friendly and made sure I had my paprika pepper! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Papa Johns Pizza:
I would prefer a frozen pizza. I ordered the new Shaq-A-Roni pizza, only to get home and find there was no pepperoni on it. It's clearly indicated in the name and on the outside of the box. This kind of oversight seems to happen too frequently. It's a shame we don't have many other options nearby. View all feedback.
The confirmation email said it would take 25 minutes to deliver. 75 minutes later we decided to take a walk to look around because it showed the delivery driver was at our home. We found the delivery driver in the parking lot of a restaurant near our home. She was busy playing on her phone. We interrupted her phone time, how rude of us, and gave her instructions on how to find our house since she was on the wrong road. We walked back to our house and it took another 5 minutes before we could see her car. She parked down the street from us and went back to her phone. We walked to her car to collect the pizza since we were now closer to home. We couldn 't call the store because it was after hours. The driver had our number, but never called despite being lost . The pizza was cold, and the whole experience was very unpleasant.
Terrible quality pizza. I’m shocked at how far papa johns quality has fallen in the last few years. They’ve cut costs all around to make money for shareholders and boy does it show. Absolute garbage. Hilarious the slogan was once Better Ingredients Better Pizza. You get the same thing for 1/4 of the price at L Caesars
This place will accept your order before close and cancel without any notification, so you can sit around and wonder why it’s taken 37 minutes to prepare your pizza. Then try to call but they’re closed now, so you’re SOL for dinner.
I think some of you reviewers need to manage your expectations better. Most delivery food will have some type of complications. Like if you want EXACTLY what you want then cook at home. They are literally making you dinner and delivering it to your house. No work involved. I’ve had amazing experiences here and also a few mistakes. It happens. If you are nice to them and realize everyone here is human, things will be better. I’ve worked in food/service industry for 20 years and I know what I’m getting when I order pizza, DoorDash, Uber eats etc. Chill and be nice to the people taking care of you. Also our delivery driver, female with medium brown hair was amazing and so nice tonight. I didn’t get her name, but when I asked about sauces, she replied that they were all in the boxes. They were all there and our pizza and breadsticks were delicious. Ty!
Honestly I used to not be a big Papa John's fan mainly bc I felt the sauce was too sweet. I used to be a big Pizza Hut fan but they completely went to trash. I heard about the NY Style crust from Papa John's so I figured I'd try it out. It was sooooooooooo delicious best pizza I've had in years. And always consistently delicious. It definitely needs to be thinner to actually be consider NY style bc you wouldn't really be able to fold it to eat it but still yummy. Highly recommend! I hate to admit how much I've spent at Papa Johns in the last few weeks since I've discovered it :
