What User doesn't like about Little Savannah:
We were celebrating a special occasion and made a reservation through OpenTable. After being seated, we waited twenty minutes for someone to take our drink orders, and it took another fifteen minutes for the drinks to arrive. There was no apology for the delay. We were celebrating a special occasion and made a reservation through OpenTable. After being seated, we waited twenty minutes for someone to take our drink orders, and it took another fifteen minutes for the drinks to arrive. There was no apology for the delay. We also had to wait thirty minutes for our food, and by that point, we couldn’t help but laugh at how long it was taking. The food was just average at best, and once again, there was no explanation or apology from the kitchen. I have been making reservations through OpenTable for years in Birmingham, and this has been by far the worst culinary experience I've had in the city.
We have cherished this restaurant as a gem over the years, but this time we were disappointed. The food did not live up to the previous standards, and the service was just okay. However, the bar was excellent as always.
The service was friendly but quite slow. I even had to get up and retrieve my own spoon for my soup because our server seemed to have disappeared, and no other servers checked on us. Additionally, we weren't informed about the wing night special, even though I later found out about it from the website. We also didn't receive the wing menu until we spotted one on another table. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
Food quality was not to be expected on the standard of little savannah. we were disappointed and will not go back.
