Cafe Iz - Birmingham

Delicious! I love their lil cafe on Rocky ridge and ate there twice this week! Wait til you walk in and see those amazing pastries... and oh! you gotta try the homemade sweet potato chips! Then just when I thought they have only perfected the lunch hour... I had the pleasure of experiencing their catering and events side!

I just want to say Kimberly is a LIFE SAVER!!! I had placed an order with a different bakery for 2 dozen cookies and unfortunately the owner became ill and couldn’t full fill my order. I called Iz and spoke with Kimberly and she went above and beyond the call of duty. She actually went over to their bakery at a different location, got the cookie dough, came back to the Vestavia location and baked the cookies for me. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for her.

I love IZ!! Don't forget them when you do some catering- so many wonderful options to choose from! Also love the take home dinners- delicious and ready to serve!!

Every single thing I have ever gotten here was fantastic. My husband and I love to get the chicken salad plates and a slice of cake to go. Recently I had them do a whole Banana Cake for a funeral reception and they were kind enough to make it happen on short notice. Lovely people, delicious food.

I cannot praise cafe iz enough they make great meals ready to eat Monday-thursday and awesome deserts. Check the front coolers for meals to reheat. All plates are microwave safe! Great for quicl easy health great wholesome food on the go! Great for catering also. Below is a shortrib woth carrots and a yellow grit with a name that starts with a p. Amazing food!
