Not from the area, decided to order a lunch here. Food tastes great! Michelle was sweet, helpful and customer service oriented. Decided to eat outside and Michelle brought plates, napkins and people without being asked. Michelle even saw if everything's okay. View all feedback.
What Margaretta Barrows doesn't like about Black Pearl Asian Cuisine:
Unfortunately wasn't a big fan. The food was just very bland overrall. While Chinese food tends to usually run pretty salty and flavorful, both the chow fun and Szechuan chicken I tried were lacking in spice, flavor and salt. I'm not from the area but decided to order lunch here. The food was delicious! Michelle was kind, helpful, and really focused on customer service. I chose to eat outside, and without me having to ask, she brought out plates, napkins, and silverware. She even checked in to make sure everything was alright.
This is a great Asian restaurant in Birmingham AL at the Colonnade. The food is very good, actually quite above average. The sections are very large, probably shadeable. The price is very good. The service staff is friendly and helpful, but not overlaid. I recommend this restaurant.
This place may become my favorite Chinese place in B’ham! Vast menu, amazing flavors, very affordable, and the owner is so attentive! Will definitely be back!
We are still exploring all the restaurants in the area after our move a year ago from Iowa. Hands down, the best Crab Rangoon and egg roll I have ever had!! I ordered Chicken with mushrooms with steamed rice and my hubs d ordered General Tso’s chicken with fried rice. Enough for 2 meals and was fantastic!! The gal working the counter was so friendly, and that’s a breath of fresh air in this industry anymore. The inside was clean and it smelled good inside. This is our new go to for Asian night!

If you're expecting spicy food though, this is not the place for it.
