I went back here for a while and the food was delicious! It was pretty slow because it was the middle of a weekday, but everything tasted wonderful! I felt that the menu was a bit more extensive, and the food was a bit more tasteful than the city center location. View all feedback.
What Terrell Jacobson doesn't like about Bay Leaf Modern Indian Cuisine 280:
Waited an hour for the food, got yelled at because I asked if they don?t have the curry trays for dinner, and our garlic naan has fresh pieces of garlic instead of what they usually serve. But the food is good! View all feedback.
Indian restaurant in Birmingham. Very clean, unique dishes with a twist to Indian dishes with authenticity and taste. For example, I got the Quesedilla made with Tandooru Roti and stuffed with Channa and cheese. I loved it.

Delicious food and excellent service! The server was so friendly and patient with us, and our food was perfect. There were many vegetarian and omnivorous options, it was hard to choose only one thing on the menu. My sister and I were just looking for a quick bite, but we might have found some of the best Indian food in the area. We'll be back.
I'm sorry, but the service is terrible. 3 tables throughout the restaurant. My wife asked the server if we could get our bread (which came with the meal) early. We had children starving all day after swimming. The server said no, it comes with the meal. She explained her argumentation and still got no, I said it comes with the meal. We also had to ask for napkins and cutlery for our children (4) (10). The food wasn't bad, but the waiting time was disgusting. 15 minutes before someone came to our table, and again, the waiter had to go down just by 1 refill. We have all the glasses empty and thirsty. It was just not worth drinking more. The food wasn't bad, but portions small. There are many Indian restaurants in town that are great to have shops and they show it. Not this place in our experience.
