Stopped for lunch. Coffee's were great and the pie section is huge with a great selection of sweets. Customer service is severely lacking and almost hostile! Its like we just ran over their pet dog or something. View all feedback.

I wish Canada had bakeries as available as they do in Australia. The baked goods we had here were to die for. I had a salami salad roll and a sausage roll for a late lunch. As I said FANTASTIC is the only word I can think best describes what I ate.
This country bakery is on the right as you enter Birdwood from the direction of Adelaide. It sells coffee, pies, sandwiches and everything you'd expect in basically a big clean rustic shed with seats inside and out. Stopping for a quick lunch, my wife had a toasted sandwich and I had a toasted focaccia. Both were filling. Service was friendly, costs reasonable, and there's also a small second hand shop within the bakery.
We stopped here before visiting the National Car Museum. Friendly service and a different variety of pies Goulash and stroganoff). I had a chunky beef and mushroom. The pie was tasty and pastry good,
