Fernwood - Birchwood

The bar where I grew up. Large beer selection. Cool old school games. Appropriate prices. And a dog's monster. The debtors are super friendly nice people. The crowd is always fun. I hope to visit again soon.

Girls trip Long weekend escape, this resort was perfect for us. Cabin was very comfortable and very clean. Nicely equipped with everything you need in the kitchen. With the bar and grill it was convenient, but holy cow the food was amazing. Burgers and wings are the specialty and we can see why. Live music on the deck Sat and Sun brought into the crowds, so we ordered our food to go and enjoyed it on our deck overlooking the lake. Music was too early in the late afternoon, so there was no disturbance at all. Relaxing atmosphere with families who enjoy this little jewel in the forest of Wisconsin. The pool on site looks over Birch Lake and is heated. The only disappointment was, there was no room for a campfire, but at the end there was no big deal. It would also be nice if some of the low laying trees between cabin and lake are hidden for a better lake view. Thank you. Bev. Pete, Nikki and staff for your hard work and dedication to hospitality. We'll be back. PS. We rented a Ponton from Ri Shells Resort over the lake. Great addition to the trip.

Cool place. Very cozy. We loved the old bowling machine Jukebox. Bartenders were very friendly.

Love the atmosphere. I had great service and they have an amazing dog I immediately fell in love.
