AFter we ordered our server brought us a h... read more Last Friday we went to the Old Bank Catfish house in Birch Tree, MO. We were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. AFter we ordered our server brought us a hot bowl of freshly fried sweet potato fries and okra as an appetizer which were YUMMY! Their menu is somewhat limited, but what we had was incredible. Each of us got the catfish. My son had all you can eat, and the rest of us had the 3 piece dinner. Our server was very prompt to make sure he had all the fish he wanted, and for the rest of us, we had plenty of food as well. Because of the attentive service, the fresh, hot food and the atmosphere, we will go again!!

I passed on the fries, but the okra was delicious. Then the main course was a heaping plate of Catfish (piping hot and absolutely delicious! , fries, beans, and Cole slaw, along with hush puppies. It was all fantastic! Plus you get more Catfish if you want it, and it includes a drink as well. All for $16! Janet, my waitress was kind and attentive. I highly recommend it for you Catfish lovers. Of course they serve chicken and other things as well. Stop in you won't be disappointed!

It's nothing overly fancy, but the flavor of the authentic catfish fillets and the perfectly seasoned cornmeal coating took me back to those cherished memories.
