What Marina Vitali doesn't like about Il Birrificio di Bioggio:
eating was great and quite expensive, but the service was kind of bad: the waiters made some strange sweat that made all unpleasant. Beyond that we spent like minutes outside to smoke a zigarette and they did not take the opportunity to eat the dirty...tishes (they were hanging there on the table for at least minutes before someone took them away) overall I would recommend it for eating and the good mood, but as I me... We regularly visit Birrificio for aperitif because our friend works nearby and this restaurant is a good solution for all of us. The place is on the main street which leads to Caslano and Ponte Tresa, has lots of tables both inside and outside and...a large parking lot. They offer a wide variety of food, ranging from pizzas to meat or burgers, craft beers and Neapolitan desserts. Overall beers are very good, pizza is good but, after my recent visit to Naples,i am very spoiled and judge it ok. When it comes to aperitif they are quite stingy and we often need to order focaccias or pizzas to feel stuffed enough. Staff is a bit grumpy and not extremely friendly. Overall a nice place to enjoy some beers or a pizza, but atmosphere could be improved. Prices slightly above average.
I was in town for the night and just happened to drive by this place. It looked very inviting from the exterior so I decided to try it out. The dining room was a very large open floor plan with high ceilings. My server was...from Italy and very accommodating and professional. I had pizza as my starter and it was outstanding. My pasta dish was also very good. For Switzerland, I felt that the price point was very reasonable. I will definitely come back here.
I visited Birrificio already a few times, I personally don't like the pizza because I prefer a thinner dough, but the Pizza served here is the original! The location is nice, there is a bar a few tables in a terrace outside and a big bright part which is the main restaurant. The atmosphere is cosy and well decorated. Sometimes the music might be a little too loud but when I visited I asked whether it was possible to slightly turn down the volume because communicating between friends and also the waiters was hard.Very convenient is the fact you can share a pizza in two and the price is very good. The Hamburger is very tasty and the self made beer exceptional, plus you can chose among a lot of different varieties. The staff is mostly nice, even though some of them might be a little be rude.Generally I would recommend paying a visit at Birrificio!
Eravamo in 3 e abbiamo ordinato pizze singole. Peccato
