We asked for the T... read more On arrival seemed clean and spacious lots of staff and not many customers the staff however all seemed somewhat pre occupied with themselves. We asked for the Top Table deal and straight away service slowed to a snails pace. We were essentially there for a pre show dinner arrived at 18:00 30 minutes before we got a drink over an hour until the food arrived the whole experience took 2 hours. Food was OK drinks very expensive 12.5% service charge no apology offered must be the norm.

The atmosphere is reminiscent of a typical city restaurant, where you might stop for a drink and also find a dining option available. However, I think they could have organized the layout better. I can imagine that on a busy day, with more patrons at the bar, it could become noisy, which might detract from the dining experience at the tables.

The service was lovely—attentive w... read more I expected this city-based restaurant to be quiet on a weekend, but it was surprisingly empty with only four tables occupied. The service was lovely—attentive without being intrusive—and the staff were dressed very casually. The food was quite good, especially the cheddar croquettes served on sauerkraut, although the portion was quite small. However, the lack of ambiance was a significant drawback, so we opted not to stay for dessert or cocktails. I did appreciate the tall windows from the old linoleum factory and the exposed industrial piping, and the downstairs area looked like it would be a great bar, but it was also empty. I'd be interested to see how it is during the week when local city workers fill the space.
