River Bistro - Binghamton

Drinks were pretty good. Food menu was unexciting though and decided against eating here.

Food was good but the service was very slow. Maybe 10 customers were there.

Best kept secret in Binghamton. I hope my assessment helps to change that. I think most of their problems are within the DoubleTree Hotel, which prevents your average local from coming to dinner in the square. You just seem to eat in hotel cartridges. Bonus back to this set is that you never have to worry about parking while still eating city. Great atmosphere and view. You can relax at the bar or have a traditional sit down menu. Even if there is a more beautiful place because it is in the hotel and accept all comets and goers, there is no specific dress code. This means you can dress up for a beautiful night, or down for comfort and will not be out of place. You had a live musician yesterday who was a nice element. Food and service was top notch. Alisha was our server. She was knowledgeable, efficient and human. You can see what we ate in the pictures below. The cancer mac and cheese and roast cord beans were my favorite, but it was all delicious. My only problems were the chairs, but this will affect only great people like me, and the cream roar, but this is a preference that will not disturb many people. The chairs you can see on the picture thus have the metal legs on top of the seat, so if your base is somewhat wider than the seat around a little they dig in you. The cream brulee had a coffee like taste that some people like to take the unique on the classic dish, but I am one of the rare people on earth who hate coffee.

Order room service for our family and YUM fresh, hot and fast! Delivered quickly and our whole food was exactly as ordered, packed for transport, and they delivered napkins, utensils and spices. Breakfast is very good with TONS of choice for every taste.

Opens at 5:00 PM. Got there at 5:05. No waitress, bartender took our order. Waitress came in. First got my soup wrong. Then brought my wife her desert, and forgot mine (never got it). Asked for the check, and waited over ten minutes to get, even though our waitress passed by us several times for another table.
