It has... read more Have dined at the restaurant twice. The cook does a really good job to cook German dishes in a lighter and more modern fashion, which is why we returned. It has a nice small garden where one can sit outdoor in a pleasant atmosphere. Be...prepared, however, to be treated like you are a burden and the ladies doing the service are doing you a real favor. If this bothers you, you may find you can't enjoy the very good food after all.

We happened to run into an old friend of ours, that we had not seen in years. The food was spot on and their wine suggestions...paired very well with our meals. We will definitely make sure to to add it to our regular stops!

Friendly waitress who was a native American English speaker and helped...us with the menu, which was entirely in German.

It came... read more Today we stayed with our guests at the Gaggianer in Bingen Essen and ordered 3 x Rumpsteak medium. Unfortunately, the meat was raw and we gave it back. It came back with the argument: The cook has 45 years of experience. There was no salt and pepper on request. Too bad you get so little on the guest, we cannot recommend this ambience. We're not coming back.
