Stopped by during Winzerfest. Was busy, but you would never know it. The staff is very well managed. We happened to run into an old friend of ours, that we had not seen in years. The food was spot on and their wine suggestions..

This is a beautiful restaurant, in a gorgeous garden setting serving fresh local produce and Rheinhessische Specialities. Must try the fresh white asparagus! Good menu choice, friendly efficient service. A favourite of the locals
Today we stayed with our guests at the Gaggianer in Bingen Essen and ordered 3 x Rumpsteak medium. Unfortunately, the meat was raw and we gave it back. It came back with the argument: The cook has 45 years of experience. There was no salt and pepper on request. Too bad you get so little on the guest, we cannot recommend this ambience. We're not coming back.
