Sumo Japanese Steakhouse Sushi - Biloxi

Went here for lunch. Thought the tempura was great, terriyaki salmon was nice but wasn 't too impressed with the sushi roll we ordered. Service was good and friendly. The tempura cheesecake was good but we were a bit surprised and confused to why it was served with to-go plastic utensils. Overall experience was positive and will visit again when in Biloxi.

I had never visited this restaurant before, but when my family came to town, we decided to give it a try. I have to say that Ashley was an outstanding server. My kids were probably a handful, but she didn’t let it show; instead, she engaged with them and made the experience enjoyable. She crafted some delicious adult drinks for us and ensured we had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, Ashley!

This is an excellent venue for groups of all ages. They offer ample seating for multiple parties, along with a well-stocked bar and a diverse menu. The chefs are outstanding, and the hostesses consistently provide friendly service. I've only visited a few times, but each experience has been exceptional. Whether you're celebrating a birthday or hosting a farewell party, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this place!

I went on a date here yesterday, and it was an incredible experience! Our server, Coi, was exceptionally polite, patient, and knowledgeable about all our questions regarding the menu. We enjoyed crab rangoon with sweet chili sauce, egg drop soup, a sashimi sampler, sushi, maki rolls, and eel (unagi). Everything was delicious and served promptly! Coi definitely earned a generous tip and is a fantastic addition to the team at SUMO. My only complaint is that the windows, curtains, and soy sauce dispenser were quite dirty. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful time on our date and will definitely be returning!

Food was good and the service was great. Everyone that worked 10/24/21 during the lunch shift worked as a team. Very respectful, attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will be returning soon. The presentation was beautiful. ? Amazing job y'all ????
