Had the shark. The flavors and spices were what I was looking for and delivered. Fresh whole fish beautifully prepared with Caribbean and southern flavors! Amazing. I will definitely be back! That's it! View all feedback.
What Edward doesn't like about Perry's Caribbean Seafood Kitchen:
I came in and ordered the oxtail plate. The portion size was extremely small and there was hardly any meat; $25 for a handful of rice and some sauce covered bones. I wish this were an exaggeration. View all feedback.
Be sure to check out this restaurant; you'll really enjoy it! The cornbread is delicious, and the Rasta pasta is outstanding. For vegetarians, the options are somewhat limited. Parking is convenient with an open lot and easy access. Plus, it's very wheelchair accessible, making it suitable for all guests.
I absolutely loved it! The portion sizes were fantastic for the price. The food was definitely impressive! I will definitely be returning. Food: 5/5
First off, the restaurant is no longer called Perry's Caribbean Seafood; it's now Rasta. I’ve had some really excellent authentic Jamaican food before, but unfortunately, this place didn't quite measure up. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered oxtails, rice and beans, and fried plantains, while my husband got jerk chicken, potato salad, and rice and beans. Although the portions were reasonable for the price, the taste left a lot to be desired. The jerk chicken tasted like it had just been drenched in bottled BBQ sauce, and the oxtails were cut quite thin, lacking both meatiness and flavor. The plantains were just okay. I want to support local Black and Brown businesses, but I feel it’s important to share my honest thoughts about the food and service in hopes that the owners will improve. The young lady at the counter was friendly, but she didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the menu, which was a letdown. The restaurant itself is small, which isn’t an issue, but it was quite hot inside. I would love to give them another chance during our next visit, as we’ll be staying in the same spot and the restaurant is within walking distance from the RV park. However, next time, I plan to ask for a sample before making a purchase to ensure I'm not wasting my money. As for parking, it’s very limited, and the building creates a somewhat dangerous situation for turning onto Pass Rd from their parking lot, so be cautious.
Arrived at 11am. J chicken taste like burnt chicken maybe because it was from the day before. Most certain. Mac also beans were room temp. Avoid this place for earlier lunchService: 4/5
