One of the primer restaurants on the coast. My buddy and I go on Mondays cause of the Military specials. Buckets of beer and wing specials. Life cannot be better than on the beach on a Monday with Friends, Beer and WingFood: 5/5
We came for lunch on a weekday and had a great experience. We were seated quickly, and everyone was helpful and friendly.We got the cheese dip and chicken quesidilla as appetizers and both were really good. My daughter got a kids lemonade that sat in a small inflatable flamingo cup holder, and had colorful mermaids and sprinkles on top. It was so cute and she loved it!A couple people at our table got the fish tacos and said they were great. I got the shrimp and grits and they were just okay. The grits were thick and creamy, but also pretty bland, and it only had 5-6 shrimp. I expected a little more for $19. Overall, we had a great experience and would come back for the service, cheese dip tacos.
OMG what a great spot. Coming from Pensacola Beach we tried to stay true to Shaggys but wait poor service and attitudes this Shaggys had. Thankfully Lucy’s was fantastic and welcome with open arms. Such a better vibe with a live band, shaded down stairs that serves a full menu including a dog menu which our pup loved! Jamie and Johnathon downstairs were phenomenal, so great with our 5 kids and truly saved the day. Come here and beat “the wait” at Shaggys. Fish dip is super yummy with the cucumber. You will have great service and a much better vibe! Thank you Johnathan and Jamie for saving the day!!
The food and service is top notch for a family! We sat by the big window inside and had a great view of The Gulf and Beach. We each ordered different food and all the dishes were excellent! The manager stopped by our table to check in and was a pleasure to chat with. We even left without our kids' tablet and when we realized it, we called after their official closing for the night and since they were still there finishing up for the night, they allowed us to come back and get it right away. We are so thankful for them picking it up and keeping the tablet safe for a few hours! Thanks for a great experience, and we'll definitely be back on our next visit to the area!
