Doris’ Hot Tamales is a great little spot on the coast. There are not a ton of tamale joints on the Coast so it is nice to grab a few of these when we are around. I'm trying to stop 4x. After all, it was here on Tuesday. Great place to buy some homemade sponges on the jump. Sat outside with my loved ones and ate the goodness Doris and her family have made for us. Very cute little place to eat and enjoy quality time. The road is even named after Doris!! How cool is that?
Not authentic tamales but they're still absolutely delicious! The lady I always see is very friendly and the tamales are affordable. Get there early because they sometimes sell out fast!
Delicious! I always feel so happy to get some when they're available. Dorris's family does an excellent job running the business. I love this place!
Mississippi's hot tamales are truly exceptional. The owner was polite, friendly, and always smiling. It's clear that this family-run business has a rich history spanning several generations. The fact that it's been thriving for decades while focusing solely on their food speaks volumes. The tamales were fantastic, and I can't wait to return!
Mississippi's hot tamales at their best! The owner was polite, friendly, and always smiling. It's a great place with an impressive history, being a family business that has been around for several generations. The fact that it has been operating for decades while specializing in just one type of food speaks volumes. The tamales are fantastic! I can’t wait to return.
