It was 50-cent corn dog day, and everything was delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly, and I didn't have to wait long at all. I wanted to provide an update: my experience was fantastic. The service was quick and welcoming, and the food was great. My son is a big fan of the sauces! I've seen a lot of negative reviews, and I find it hard to believe those people visited the same Sonic! What User doesn't like about Sonic Drive-in:
We waited 25 minutes in the drive in and got absolutely no service. Finally left and went to Taco John’s. Got service right away and only waited 5 minutes to get food. Can’t give a review on the food because got no service. View all feedback.
I was served right away and the food is great. Would you like to say if you never cost Sonics Onion rings you should be the best onion ring I've ever eaten. They say it is because they are dipped into ice when they are scattered. Not sure that's true, but if they are and could be, I have no doubt. I'd like to get her prescription. But since I don't have it, I think I'm going to meet her. You're the best.
I haven't been here for ages because it was really bad for a while, but today I was like we're trying to get this place back. I'm glad! It was a slow process, but the food was hot n fresh. People were friendly! My sound double was juicy. I forgot how big their burgers are, but not sad about it! I'll be back!!!
It's okay, we're really coming for the drinks. The staff is always helpful and friendly!
I have tried to give this place a chance. 3 times I 've gotten delivery. They are the worst. They have not read the directions for the food orders anytime. I 've had to pick things off every time. They never add the items I ask for but trust me, I get charged for them. The soft pretzels might be good if they could only send the signature cheese sauce , if they aren 't going to give you cheese sauce then take it out of the description for goodness sake and make it an option to add. Oh wait that wouldn 't matter because they don 't read that anyhow. Also, when I order a drink it would be really nice to get a straw. Especially when I checkmark the box specifically asking for one. Oh wait my mistake those things never get read. Don 't assume that because you order a drink you will get a straw. I am pretty much done with the chances. No wonder there are hardly ever any people there.
Easily the worst Sonic experience I've ever had. It wasn't super busy, but took them 20 minutes to answer the red button, then they put us on hold... just left the speaker active while they chit chatted about other things for another 10 minutes. They finally took our order and it took almost an hour to come out. Yes, it was a complicated order, but they were out of several things so we had to keep figuring out other options for those with dietary restrictions. They rang up the order correctly. It came out horribly wrong. I hit the red button again and told them it was wrong and the lady got very aggressive and hateful and blamed me for ordering it wrong. I told her it was right on the receipt and that made her more mad and she said she would get it out to us eventually. They put meat on all the vegetarian's food or else we would have just accepted the wrong order and moved on at this point. After 20 more minutes, I had to flag down a car hop and he ran in and got our corrected food. The car next to me also had to flag the poor kid down to get their order corrected after they argued with the lady via the speaker. It was a horrible 2 hour experience for mediocre cold Sonic food. This was the last thing we did in Billings, delaying the next leg of our drive by about 1.5 hours more than expected, and leaving a sour taste in our mouths after what had been an otherwise amazingly lovely stop on our vacation with incredibly friendly people. This Sonic honestly brings down the whole town.
