Description

Nestled just off Interstate 90 near the Metra exit, this restaurant is a beloved local spot known for its classic burgers, chicken fried steak, and all-day breakfast. Regulars praise the flavorful meals and reasonable prices, while sports fans enjoy multiple big-screen TVs and a lively bar-like atmosphere. Friendly staff often create a welcoming environment, making it a favored stop for travelers and locals alike. However, some visitors have experienced inconsistent service, with reports of slow or inattentive waitstaff dampening the overall experience. Despite this, it remains a popular place to relax, dine, and watch the game.

Saw in bar with my wallet on the counter and waited. And waited. Ultimately, this older lady looked up, didn't ask me if I wanted a drink and left. No good way to get a repeater. Avoid this place there are many other places in the city where they take care of the customer!

Looks a little rough on the outside but the food and drinks were good!

Sat at the bar with wallet on the Counter top! Bartender came up looked at me and did not ask me if I wanted a drink just turned and walked off to look at the TV Screen. This not my 1st time there ! I am even a good tipper! The service has been slipping as of late ! There are other places in town that actually take care of their customers. This is a place to avoid.

My parents owned this bar in 1980's. Very friendly, spacious, casino and great selection of food on menu. Kitchen closes at 8pm every night and in my opinion, that is too early food keeps customers and they drink more otherwise customers leave, as we did, to go to a bar/casino that we could get food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $1–10
