Muzzle Loader Cafe - Billings
Muzzle Loader Cafe
Description
Nestled in Billings, this longstanding eatery offers hearty, reasonably priced breakfasts with generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere that draws regulars. While some diners praise the friendly, accommodating service and clean environment, others note inconsistencies—including occasional slow service and occasional underwhelming dishes like chicken fried steak or frozen sausage patties. The restaurant shines with diabetic-friendly options and ample parking, plus good wheelchair accessibility despite no automatic door. Families appreciate the kid-friendly vibe, and the comfortable, diner-style setting adds to its charm. Though experiences vary, many find this spot reliably satisfying for classic comfort food.

This place was exactly what we expected it to be. Cozy american atmosphere with big servings of good food. All of the staff members were friendly and personable. Even the cooks we could see in the back waved and smiled. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The prime rib and steak strongaff tasted excellent. Our waitress went above qnd beyond on the service side. Highly recommend especially if you are missing a home cooked style meal. Generous portions at a reasonable price. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
I would rate this experience a solid ten out of ten! For those with dietary restrictions: as a diabetic, I often find that dining out limits my options to salad, which can be disappointing. However, Muzzle Loader offers a variety of diabetic-friendly choices! As for parking, there's ample space right in front of the restaurant. Regarding wheelchair accessibility, they don’t have an automatic door, but overall, access is quite easy. There's a ramp leading directly to the entrance, and the threshold bump is small enough to navigate easily in a manual wheelchair. Our server was very accommodating and even removed a chair from our table for me. There are plenty of wheelchair-accessible tables available.
