The restaurant isn’t very large, but it boasts a lovely small terrace in addition to the indoor seating. While the food is upscale, we felt perfectly comfortable in our travel jeans and t-shirts. Our server was friendly and attentive, even accommodating us despite our late arrival after a long journey.

My first experience at Local was disappointing. We visited for Sunday brunch and waited nearly an hour for our food to arrive. When it finally came, it was cold, and only half of our party of nine received their meals. By the time we got the rest of our order, those who had been served first were already finishing their food, which was still cold. I have been here regularly since it opened and have never once had a bad experience. I recommend it to anyone who asks.
Haven’t been back in Billings for 20 months so we had our one meal out at Local. It had also been 20 months since I had my favorite, the lamb shank. It was so good! My only problem was that I couldn’t finish it nor take it with me as we were leaving the next morning. Hope that I don’t have to wait that long until the next time. Great food and service! We’ve go a lot of good food places in Boise but northing quite like Local.
Went last night for my first time for a friends birthday dinner. Let's just say it was amazing. Great food and service. And the menu isn't to big for you to change your mind multiple times. Differently can't wait to go back.

I can confidently say this restaurant offers the most delicious food and wine. It's evident that a lot of effort goes into sourcing the finest ingredients for their dishes. I've visited about six times, and every experience has been outstanding! Some must-try items include the Secret Squirrel wine, Potein, Buffalo Cauliflower, Lamb Shanks, Elk Medallions, Mac 'n' Cheese Pizza (in fact, every pizza), and the Staff Burger. Be sure to make a reservation, go with a group, and sample dishes from each plate. You definitely won't regret trying anything on the menu!
