The Granary - Billings

The cocktails and service are consistently excellent. The menu is tempting, although I have found it lacking on a few occasions. We ordered a lox and cream cheese bagel with an additional charge for the egg to go, which cost us $21, but they forgot to include the egg. This was a little disappointing given the price. However, I will continue to appreciate the atmosphere and drinks while hoping the kitchen improves.

The dining room is quite pleasant, striking a balance between comfort and elegance without being overly lavish or formal. We tried a range of entrees, and everyone was pleased with their meal. The French Onion Soup was tasty, though the onions could have used a bit more caramelization to bring out the richer flavor typically expected. The Strawberry Gelato we savored for dessert was absolutely divine! The restaurant has recently been sold, so we're eagerly waiting to see what changes the new owners might implement. I'm hoping they keep most of it as is!

I'm visiting family in Billings and took my mother out to this restaurant. We both appreciate fine dining, and the food was absolutely exceptional (we ordered the filets). The service was flawless as well. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and very reasonably priced.

Great place for a celebratory meal or an intimate dinner. The service was outstanding. The overall meal was great. The only dissapointment was the linguini with scampi. Unfortunately, they were small shrimp, definitely NOT scampi, and the sauce heavy handed. I also wished the wine choices were as elegant as the meal selections.

Our on complaint is that they seated us in a small room with a large group. We were clearly on a date. There was plenty of other seating available that would have been a more considerate option. Even a member of the party felt bad and bought our dessert
