I visit this restaurant every year during and after the Essex Sausage and Cider Festival on the whole street. The food is absolutely amazing, and the staff is incredibly friendly and polite. The restaurant is immaculate, including the restrooms. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out! I'm currently sitting here as I write this.

The café itself is lovely, with plenty of outdoor seating, and the staff was fantastic. I would definitely consider returning, but next time I think I'll opt for just one scone with cream and jam instead of the full cream tea.

Had a nice afternoon tee for our mums 67th birthday and we enjoyed it very much. the food was delicious and the staff could not do enough for us and made mum's birthday very special. good value for money, they get loads that we have even taken a few cakes home. will definitely return soon

Today, I enjoyed a lovely cream tea featuring two scones, jam, and clotted cream. The presentation was impressive, but there wasn't quite enough jam for my taste, to be honest. However, the flavors were delightful. I ended up sharing most of the second scone with the birds while sitting outside. The atmosphere was relaxing, perfect for soaking up the sunshine. This is a great place to visit, especially with other interesting shops nearby, and the staff were very friendly.
