We got a warm welcome. I have been to this restaurant before and they are always friendly. Great choice on the menu del día- first course paella was generous and freshly cooked as well as being full of seafood. We recommend the pork, steak( filete) and hake. All were fresh and from a traditional kitchen. Good choice of puddings. The bread is gorgeous- very rustic and the house wine is highly recommended. This place is a gem. It is always full of locals having lunch- that’s a great sign.

My wife... read more A beautifully appointed restaurant with a fairly extensive menu. I opted for the Oxtail Stew which was simply off-the-scale tasty and meltingly tender. My wife had a steak which was cooked to perfection and my daughter had a Cod Prawn risotto that was bursting with flavour. Paired with a bottle of Rioja Crianza it made for a perfect evening.

Wine was cheap, service was friendly and efficient even though there was only one waiter on duty. We had stuffed mussels as a starter, which was very different to usual mussels but very tasty, and crab stuffed peppers, also excellent, We had a very tasty steak, and cod with clams and prawns all perfect. (I never understand why the Spanish grow so ch abundant vegetables but never think to include them in a restaurant meal! I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
