The best babagan... read more Found the place just by accident , cause we lived round the corner . I adored the decor from behind the window . The food was equally awesome . The best babaganoush I’ve ever tried with lots of mint leafs and pine nuts . Salmon tartar and peach salad were also amazing . The staff was extremely nice and helpful . Prices are moderate and the place wasn’t crowded . It was really a great refreshment after only pintxos bar around .

The menu a la carte offers a multicultural choice of dishes. We had a very nice Italian red wine (Paolina) among a quite variegate selection. Delicious the Alitas and lomitos. The service was very relaxed and the girls who served us were very nice and funny. The place is not particularly well located, but very close to the train station and with possibilities to have drinks in night bars after dinner. Adam is a passionate chef that brought to Bilbao different kind of flavors to mix them with the traditional Basque cuisine. Fresh salads, fish grilled and a special mention to the Pumpkin Paste made by Adam’s wife made my trip unforgettable. If you are looking for original cuisine, this place is definitely the one where to go. All the dishes that I have tried just make me want to go back and try a new one. My taste buds are delighted in sheer happiness the times I have visited. From the homemade pasta, to the fish plates not to mention the homemade ice cream. I truly believe that the Arima restaurant have nailed creativity and gastronomy in one place. I just have to say that next time I visit Bilbao, these guys will get to know me. Congratulations to these guys. Keep it up!

Nice decor. There were two waitresses. One was nice, the other looked annoyed that we were there, barely spoke to us and seemed like she couldn't wait to get rid of us. It was also confusing that the menu and waitress said all the dishes were meant for sharing but the mains looked like proper meals for one person. Apart from that and the confusion, it was a positive experience.
