Pera Kitchen - Biggleswade
Pera Kitchen
Description
Pera Kitchen has garnered mixed reviews, revealing both strengths and weaknesses. Guests praise the restaurant's delightful decor and delicious food, particularly the starters. However, service inconsistency and issues with overbooking have marred experiences for some visitors, leading to disappointment. While many appreciate the attentive staff and accommodating measures, others have encountered rude service and wait times that detract from the overall enjoyment. The restaurant's ability to evoke nostalgia for loyal patrons remains strong, yet the execution of main courses and voucher policies need refinement. Ultimately, Pera Kitchen offers potential for a memorable dining experience amid lingering challenges.

I have to say I was somewhat disappointed with my meal. While the starters were fantastic, the main course didn't quite meet my expectations. The chicken was tasty, but it was overwhelmed by an excessive amount of cold yogurt poured on top, which caused the dish to lose heat quickly. My dining companions also felt that the starters outshone the mains, which included calamari, a mixed platter, and moussaka. Others we know have raved about their meals there, so perhaps we just visited on an off night. Would we go back? We're not certain. It felt quite pricey for what we considered to be a mediocre meal.
Just ordered food delivery. It was delivered very quickly on a Saturday evening and food was delish. Glad to have a good and reasonably priced Turkish restaurant in the area.
