Our experience at the Nest is one I will always cherish! The location by the Swan River, combined with the fantastic hosts, made for an exceptional getaway. Mike and Pam, the owners, have really created a hidden gem. They were always quick to respond to our inquiries and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Don't miss the drinks paired with delectable dishes at the Perch, where you can enjoy live local music on the weekends! This truly is a special place, and Mike and Pam are wonderful hosts. We plan to return every summer!
A group of 7 women artists shared the Inn for 5 days and it was wonderful. The accommodations were spacious and we could spread out even setting up our easels in the living room. The bedrooms were large and all the beds comfortable to sleep in. The commercial kitchen was big enough for us all to be in there at once. We painted on the grounds with the beautiful Swan River as our backdrop. We were lucky to have apple trees blooming around all the outdoor seating areas where we could eat and have a drink overlooking the Swan. Pam and Mike were friendly and available at all times to answer questions and help us out. We had a stellar experience and we'll be back!
I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing summer vacation getaway. The whole property is locally owned and operated. The owners are wonderful people and gave us tons of recommendations for outdoor activities in the surrounding area. They really put forth an effort to make our stay the best it could be. Our cabin was very clean and cozy. It seemed like everything in the cabin was custom built; the rough, rustic wood floors, the massive tree trunk wood beams, even the wood plank countertops. I imagined a big lumberjack building this cabin from the ground up lol! The fine details really made our experience feel authentic. I think my favorite part was drinking coffee every morning outside on the deck, which sits right over the swan river. Relaxing and rejuvenating. If I could, I would spend a few weeks here every summer.
Had a wonderful say over the Forth of July weekend. the grounds are very accommodating for a range of all ages. the panoramic view along the river is hard to beat at sunset and sunrise. being able to cook out of a wonderful commercial kitchen to feed our group of 8 to 10 was beyond helpful. the owners were very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had all the things we needed.
We fell in love with every aspect of this place: the stunning views of the river, the veranda overlooking the water, the spacious pavilion, the Gathering Room, and the charming residential buildings. The accommodations were beautifully done and impeccably maintained. Working with Michael and Pam was a breeze; they were responsive and incredibly helpful, which made the planning and setup straightforward and enjoyable. The cabins we reserved were the perfect spots for getting ready and staying during our wedding. I would definitely choose this venue again; our guests adored the atmosphere and had the best time!
