Usually pretty good here but this time this order was a let down. We always get wings and I promise the portions are way more substantial than what’s pictured not worth the price. What User doesn't like about Trail's Grill Sports:
We visited the restaurant once while we were away this month. I used to be a fan of Trails Bar Grill in Big Lake, but that's no longer the case. Since August, I've tried multiple times to reach the general manager and chef via email, Facebook, phone, and even through the Monticello Chamber of Commerce, but I haven't received a single response. The servers were attentive, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the restaurant was clean, but the food was exceptionally disappointing. I visited with a group of 15, and six of us ordered various sandwiches, including a Reuben that I chose. Unfortunately, all of our sandwiches were inedible—truly the worst I've ever had anywhere. When we brought our concerns to the staff, they were friendly, but their response was essentially dismissive. While I know some people seem to enjoy this place, I personally won't be returning and will continue to caution others about our terrible experience.

I've always experienced excellent service and delicious food here. I especially enjoy sitting at the bar with a draft beer in hand. Keep up the great work!
The restaurant was quite busy during Bingo night. The service could have been improved by having staff check in at the table for drink refills or additional items, such as ranch dressing, to accompany the meal.
I really enjoy Thursday evenings eating chicken wings, and this is a fantastic place to watch the Vikings play.
