What User likes about Russells On The Lake:
I had the red snapper, which was quite delicious. However, the angel hair pasta it was served on was bland and overcooked. The dill pickle soup was excellent, as was the Philly soup, but the latter really should just be called vegetable beef. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Russells On The Lake:
We have been dining at Russell's for 30 years and have consistently enjoyed wonderful food and excellent service—until our recent visit. Unfortunately, the service was terrible, and the food was even worse. The prime rib was tough and full of gristle, the broiled shrimp were dried out and almost crunchy, the baked potato was barely warm, and the sirloin filet was tough as well.
