I'm going to breakfast. I'm always ripping toast filled with blueberries or the crab cake eggs Benedict. Luckily, I have a wonderful man with whom I go half-sies. You can even observe how the planes come and go, so I suggest and ask for a table near the windows! Today they had a St. Patrick's day special and my Gosh was filled. Soooo delicate and tasty. What Blair L doesn't like about The Barnstorm Restaurant:
Nice enough guys took our order and delivered food, but overall this place is below average. Our Diet Coke was almost see-through and tasted like a actual dirt/soil. Not watered down, but funky. We sent it back. The glassware was dirty with bits of food on it, the Cole Slaw had an unlikable and untraditional flavor and the rest of the food was a C+ at best. Overpriced to boot. This place absolutely rocks! We've eaten dinner here, and it is great, but for me, their breakfast is the best in Big Bear. Besides the awesome view of panes landing taking off from Big Bear airport, the owner staff are tremendous. My recommendations for breakfast are the crab cakes benedict, blue berry stuffed french toast, and the chicken waffles. Simply delicious! Service: Dine in
