The place was bu... read more We ate here at about on a Saturday after arriving in bielefeld for a few days. Between us we had pizza, pasta, beef carpaccio and a vegan dish. The place was busy as you would expect, and the service was reasonably quick. The food...was good; the only complaint was that my daughter wanted plain pasta with olive oil and parmesan, and they used chilli oil which didn't go down well with her. However, once highlighted it was replaced quite quickly. The food and drinks were good, and the service reasonable

It took me minutes just to get the water I order... read more Went here a couple of days ago and the service was so bad and slow! I don’t think I have experienced this ever! It took me minutes just to get the water I ordered. Not that difficult to prepare I think! When we ordered...the food it took us over one hour to get it! In their defence I should say we were around person but if you can’t handle a group that large you should not accept the booking. The salad I got was okay but not worth the price. No, this is not a place I will return to and it’s nothing that I can recommend

The Nichtschwimmer (Non-Swimmer) boasts a unique architectural design: a tall, semicircular, spacious room with a long window front facing the street and, oppos... read more The Nichtschwimmer (Non-Swimmer) boasts a unique architectural design: a tall, semicircular, spacious room with a long window front facing the street and, opposite, a curved wall adorned with decorative textiles. Between these two spaces, the restaurant is furnished in a lounge-like style – generous, comfortable, and inviting. It's a wonderful ambiance that creates a sophisticated atmosphere – at least during my afternoon visits. The coffee is excellent, and my companion thoroughly enjoyed the cake… I understand the Nichtschwimmer has been sold, and I hope the new owner doesn't alter the decor; it's perfect and beyond improvement, and any changes would be a step backward.
