Another poor Indian in Germany.. the flavours are good but no spice.. we ordered a range of rmfood from Korma to Madras to a vindaloo.. all had the same spice level which was none!! I have been twice with work and the food is consistent...lol If you want nice cooked non spicy food then by all means go it is nice!! If you want to spice up your life... move on. Raya Thai is a good restaurant for that !! View all feedback.
I was in several Indian restaurants both in Germany and in the Usa and no one even comes close to the type of excellent koohinoor offers regarding the balance of taste and quality of the ingredients. it is very cozy and the staff is friendly. everything you can hope in a small city like bielefeld.
Wing last week on a business trip here. friendly people. menu also available in English. good size for the price. I had a good tasting vegetarian okra curry with rice and a garlic nan on the side. good place to stop and eat.
Look where the local food and kohinoor was one of the busiest places in the city. the personal spoke English and tolerated my poor German. service excellent and very friendly. I have found that curry in Germany is different from Britain, this is one of. the better, I would certainly recommend.
Sadly it is impossible to get good Indian food in Germany. Try as we may it is better to cook at home, most dishes taste the same and real heat does not exist in this city never mind quality curry. Too sad and even more...concerning that other reviews rate this place or anywhere else nearby.
Last weekend we ate kohinoor. eating was very good and the people are friendly. we have eaten Indian food at other places in Germany, but this is the best place in Germany we know to eat Indian food. my wife has a lot of teaching how to cook Indian food, so we can say how to eat it.
