My parents, my husband and I came to the wine tasting and sightseeing. Friends had recommended the Johanninger Weinberg on the other side of the street, where we had a great and very personal tasting and the Schufrieds had even booked a table for us at Nickl 's. We came over, like half an hour later, when booked, over which nobody complained, and had a great table with beautiful decoration and space for four in the courtyard (hoof) of a carefully renovated building. The service was perfect from start to finish. The menu consists of 9 dishes that change monthly, mainly seasonal and much local trade fair with Haute Kitchen Touch. You can decide what your attention is. A menu with 5 courses for EUR 50 has been appealed for each of us and the landlord decides the order of the dishes you selected. We had an aperitif accompanied by a variety of homemade breads and some spreads that I did not even try because the bread was so delicious: curry and rosin, crusty with herbs and spices and ordinary French baguette. The Johanninger red (a Pinot Noir) was a perfect company for each of the courses that were just the right mix between exotic and every alley. Espresso... just try a nice surprise! Quality is also excellent. You can pay with credit card, although not trusting, may not work. The EC is good or cash and prices are really reasonable. The four of us spent less than 300 EUR for a great night, delicious food, great drinks and perfect service. What else could you ask for? Next reservation!
Beautiful location in an old farmhouse, friendly owners and employees. Attached to a winery and a good selection of local wines that are very good. The menu is changed monthly and contains 10-15 items that can be combined for free, some as appetizers, some as main dishes. Enough parking.
The fact that it is in the middle of nowhere and that you need to book time in advance will only complement the attractiveness of this restaurant. Your experience is improved by the anticipation and travel there. The dining room is small, airy and intimate. The tables are spacious and well separated. The concept is simple, but works well: 5 courses for 50 euros. You choose from about 20 dishes. Mix and match. Easy. There is a recommended wine per course (except a Chardonnay that is abused with the Prawn and Mango Risotto) or choose from a HUGE wine list. The food is well selected, perfectly cooked and presented. If you are vegetarian, I would recommend checking with the employee when you book. A wonderful place to spend a few hours.

Wir gehen traditionell an Geburtstagen gut essen und diesmal fiel die Wahl unseres Geburtstagskinds (21) auf Nickls Speisekammer. Das Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert, bietet es doch für alle Vorlieben etwas. Das Amuse Gueule Menu kann selbst zusammengestellt werden. 5 Gänge kosten EUR 49. Jeder weitere Gang EUR 8. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top.
