Hi Jocelyn, Thank you for a truly wonderful lunch experience yesterday. The food was divine and service excellent. We had two vegetarians in our group of 11, including myself, and it was a breath of fresh air to have more than one option on the menu. It was very difficult to decide. We last came here in the summer and sat under the trees. It was awesome and the meal was great. However, came here today and it was so chilly. We were showed to a table under the trees which was inappropriate for this time of year. We were told we could go into the Shed at the back, but there was no one there when we arrived and no atmosphere. We were given 2 blankets between 3 of us. The food was great but got cold... The white and sparkling wines are beautifully crisp with perfect fruit notes. The restaurant has a charming rustic ambiance that is simply picture-perfect.
CHOOSE BROOKSIDE FOR YOUR WEDDING! After enjoying lunch at Brookside Vineyard, we were truly impressed by the stunning venue and the delicious food and wine. We decided to meet with Jocelyn to discuss hosting our wedding there, and after our first meeting, I knew we had made the right choice. Jocelyn made the planning process so easy; she was a delight to work with and offered fantastic suggestions that made our wedding day a breeze. On the big day, Jocelyn and Michael were present throughout, ensuring everything went smoothly, and all my guests commented on how wonderful they were. THANK YOU, JOCELYN AND MICHAEL! On a Sunday afternoon, I visited this beautiful restaurant and had an incredibly disappointing experience. I've never encountered such terrible service. After a nice walk, we came in for lunch and were unfairly judged by a blonde woman, who I believe is the manager. When we inquired about the menu, she informed us that they don't serve burgers and fries, which is fine, but there is a much better way to communicate this to customers. It’s disheartening to see such a lovely place have such a negative and outdated atmosphere. The service here doesn't even deserve a single star.
I had the pleasure of dining there yesterday (9/4/17) and enjoyed a delightful lunch filled with good wine and excellent food. Just like other reviews have mentioned, this place is truly special, and I will definitely be returning. Be sure to make a reservation in advance!
We had lunch with a group of seven and everyone agreed that the food was amazing. The restaurant has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere set in a beautiful environment. The staff is exceptional.
Have eaten here a few times, my favorite winery in the Kiley Valley! amazing eating, beautiful location and the staff are all very friendly and helpful, very recommended, great place for a high time also when this is on the cards;
Went for lunch today after having tried unsuccessfully several times prior. The setting was stunning we were given a private table near the creek. The waitstaff, though all quite young, were a perfect balance of friendly, attentive and accommodating. The food was exceptional be brave: try the sheep brains entree! . Each meal was just the right size and was very reasonably priced $14 entrees and $32 mains max . The menu had plenty of options and I would gladly have had any of them.
