Porks Place - Bicheno

Nice , clean and friendly. Didn't mind changing the menu to suit. Staff very friendly, food delicious. Would come here again if we get the chance.

We visited this restaurant for breakfast multiple times. The coffee was good, the bacon and eggs were delicious, and the staff were enthusiastic and charming. The decor is a bit eclectic, but the restaurant is very clean and tidy. The prices are on the lower end compared to other options in Bicheno. It's a bit hidden away on Burgess St across from Bendigo Bank, so it may not be easily visible from the main road. However, it's definitely worth a visit.

Purchased a delux chicken burger on 26/1/17 and friend purchased a beef burger and both were excellent and would rate my chicken the best i have ever had. The new operators are a huge improvement on the sad bitter old couple that had it before.

The menu for this place was in the guest booklet at my accommodation so I thought I'd give it a go for breakfast, not expecting much. I was super surprised, the meal was a generous serve and was better priced than other places in the area. The décor was original and gave a great feel to the place. The owner was very friendly, up for a chat and gave me some great info about the area from a locals perspective. Only thing is the cafe is changing hands at the end of the month after being owned for 13 years by its current owners. Not sure how that will change the quality, service or the menu but hopefully the new owners will honour the history of the place.

The best scallop pie in all of tasmania,I have tried scallop pies around tassie and this place was 10 out 10 for price,size and taste.You would not beat it.Sue and Steve Coolum Beach.
