a rustic and welcoming place with very friendly staff. there is the possibility to eat both entirely and externally under the pergola on a beautiful panorama. Good both the first of the day and the meat. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Baita:
really very good food but the place a little dated and not very clean, never changed the cutlery between one reach to the other, the same was for appetizer, first and second, very slow service and you had to ask for things times to have them.a sin because the dishes were good. View all feedback.
The service was improved over last visit and the food was better too. More atmosphere, but still recommend sitting outside.
Whilst the views over the countryside are nice, the location lacks the immediate charm of the bars and restaurants that can be found in the historic centre of Biccari just a couple of hundred metres away, so if you are visiting the area for a short time, going to La Baita would be a wasted opportunity. The staff seem rushed yet the service is somewhat slow. The food is below average (one prawn in a pasta dish seemed a bit mean). Unless you like the harsh neon glow of the echoey inside, the only place to sit is on the covered terrace and if you're prone to being bitten by insects is best avoided. Although I don't get bitten, my family do and I think the mosquitoes had the best meal out of all our visits to this destination!
Beautiful and characteristic place we ate well and spent little, respect the norms of ancient times required the green pass at the entrance
