Food tasted ok. Just. Steak was dry as bread even though I asked for medium-well. Second dish took forever to arrive. Guests around us smoked continuously. Not sure if this is allowed in Italy, I’m a tourist so didn’t feel comfortable to complain. Skipped desert just to get out of the smoke. View all feedback.
Sono stato ospite ancora una volta di questa storica trattoria a distanza di un anno e non solo ho ritrovato immutato l'eccellente ed amichevole servizio che ti fa sempre sentire al centro dell'attenzione di Anna, la titolare, ma anche un menù aggiornato e ancora più intrigante corredato di nuove proposte che affiancano quelle consolidate che raccontano il territorio, la sua cultura e lo spirito semplice ed accogliente tipico della zona. Conto più onesto considerando, in particolare, l'ineguagliabile entrée composta dall'offerta dei differenti tipi di pane e olio accuratamente selezionati da Anna.
Ambiente familiare, la proprietaria Anna super accogliente...ci ha proposto degli extra menù molto buoni consigliandoci un ottimo vino.. porzioni abbondanti e sapori unici della Valtellina. Ci torneremo sicuramente!!
We were staying in Bianzone and this Restaurant was recommended. We went there for lunch and did not know what to expect. Anna greeted us and made us feel very welcome. A great menu to choose from. I chose the Pumpkin Gnocchi. Wow it was the best ever. We had Dinner there as well and the food was just esquisite. The service was excellent and the location looked over the mountains in the distance.
I came here ten years ago and loved it. Family owned Trattoria, daughter the head of the region's slow food local produce movement. The food is amazing just wonderful. Regional cuisine at it's best. This restaurant deserves Michelin stars for the food, but the low prices and family style casual vibe might rule it out? But seriously in a blind taste visual test of the dishes it rates as best in the world. You MUST dine here!!!
We stayed here two nights and the restaurant far exceeded our expectations, we had great dining experiences here. One night we ate inside and the other out on the balcony. Service whilst professional is also very warm and friendly, we enjoyed our little talks with our waiter and appreciated his advice regarding the dishes. A large menu...so hard to choose however my favourite was the pork in a mustard cream sauce with mushrooms and the lemon mousse, my husband's favourite the steak and cream brûlée. Very busy both nights, locals obviously also rate it highly.
