Well, the drive thru is something to be desired, very narrow and you can see where cars have hit wall in drive thru. The girl who took our order was very pleasant, friendly, and courteous. The food was tasty as always, i opted to try a salad this time as i am watching my diet..lol. They did forget the pickle with my wifes sub, so she wasn't happy. What Robo S doesn't like about Firehouse Subs:
Slow service, they managed to mess up my order 3 times in the past 2 visits. You read that right. I waited so long to get an incorrect order I had to just throw it away or I’d be late to class. Embarrassing for UF. Don’t come here if you have any allergies. Or anything planned later in the evening, for that matter. View all feedback.
My order was not ready. They couldn't find it even with me having my order number. My bread was wet. Then when I tried to replace it, the girl cuss after retaking my order so I wasn't sure if she would spit in it. So I canceled my order.
Ordered a large Hook Ladder to share. It was HUGE. Although pricey, the portions were generous. Ordered online and was given a 20 minute wait time with a 20 minute window. Arrived two minutes before the start of the window, and the sandwich was ready. Nice to have it come up ahead of time but the sandwich was a little cold. We frequent Firehouse Subs regularly, but I've never been to this one. Sadly , our sandwich was drowned in mayonnaise or some other white sauce making it very soggy and unenjoyable. We've never had this issue at any other Firehouse. Very disappointing!

There are a lot of sandwich options in Gainesville, this franchise has alot in town this one is about average , lately though the service has been better.
If I could give it a zero I would. Service is so slow. Not worth your time at all. Takes at least 30 minutes for a sub cause they take their sweet time with it.
They roll out more than one sub every five minutes. Great if in a hurry.
