Alice Choo Sa - Bezirk Zuerich

Went there for a friend's birthday, we were a group of 15 people. The food was delicious but took ages to arrive, we were already dancing by the time dinner was served. and quantities were so small. We each paid $75-80 for food and champagne, and some of us felt cheated. There was supposed to be a caberet show which basically turned out to be 3 short segments of a cabaret dancer strutting between the tightly packed tables and occasionally doing a split or a jump. Even for Zurich the whole evening felt like a rip off.

Yes, it comes with a price tag, but this shouldn't be a shocker in Zurich. We enjoyed our dinner and felt well looked after. #getfoodinvolved

I were in that very nice place with a friend. we were the only customers. well, it was in the middle of the week. the food was great, really great!service was not too sobby like it sometimes is in places like this. we had a lot of fun!Thanks a lot!

Had dinner here tonight and left with a massive smile on our faces, a very rare thing to happen after a meal in Zurich. Alice Choo is one of those places where you can walk in and feel right at home. The staff are brilliant and lovely, unpretentious and real. Most dining establishments in Zurich are stiff, stuffy and make you feel like you're being watched. Here you are treated like an old friend, with genuine kindness and effortless warmth. Even the chef came out to say hello after we complimented his food to the waitstaff ... he was beaming when we told him his good his food was. Heartwarming!The food was brilliant too! We had the miso cod which was outstanding and a plethora of other fantastic dishes. Our waiter was amazing and helped us chose some outstanding dishes. The cheesecake was nothing short of genius. The interior is club like, the entire place turns into a club after 23:00 but is classy, sophisticated and utterly unique at the same time. A brilliant place to dine in a genuinely friendly and up market Asian fusion restaurant.

Alice Choo is a wonderful high end restaurant in Zurich. The restaurant in clean and nicely laid out, the staff are friendly and speak good English. They offer to take your coat when you come in. Alice opens as a Japanese restaurant for dinner. The food is well plated and comes out quickly. It's not the best sushi ive had in my life, but living in LA/Vegas where we have 5 star sushi restaurants im quite a hard critic when it comes to specifics but by most standards the sushi is very good. The fish is fresh, the bread that comes with the tartar is amazing. The prices may seem high but most of the prices seemed on point to most high end sushi restaurants, the black angus steak I believe was a little to expensive though for the amount you get. Can charge that for wagyu but not black angus, but it does taste great. For dessert we ordered a banana mouse with ice cream and a hot chocolate sauce. Its a chef's creation and therefore cant be found anywhere else. It was beautifully presented and really was a memorable dessert and one of the best and most unique ive had. After 11pm the restuarant turns into a nightclub on the weekends with two floors. There are sometimes shows here during the dinner ive heard but none when I came in. But they do have this really amazing magician named Dekay keeping the guests entertained with close-up magic at their tables while they wait for food. If your in Zurich it is deff a cool place to check out on a weekend, make sure to make a reservation.
