Stumbled upon this charming Café/shop while visiting the beautiful old city of Bremgarten on the Reuss River. It was a Saturday and they had live music playing out on in front in the pedestrian zone with a stunning view of the tower and old buildings. Inside is a shop over three floors with an amazing collection of cool things, from antiques and vintage and great gift items, cards and more. I had a beer while my partner shoppen, then enjoyed homemade quiche and apple pie. We'll be back!
On the main street of Bremgarten's old town, the Marktgasse, is a unique cafè/shop called Something Special. We were amazed to find tasty New York style sandwiches, fine salads and tasty soups, which we rounded off with homemade cakes and fresh-scooped gelato. Friendly English-speaking service and a unique, homey setting make Something Special a place worthy of the name. A fun shop with gift items, art and vintage over three floors assured we didn't leave empty handed. Well worth stopping by for the best coffee in Bremgarten or a selection of fine wines and beers.
