I visited this place on Easter Monday, and it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. It was a beautiful sunny day, and although the restaurant appeared mostly empty, we were forced to sit inside because we were told the outdoor seating was “full.” The interior space was dark, and the music was unpleasant. The staff seemed overall very unprofessional. From the time we were seated until the food arrived, we had been waiting for more than 2 hours. The meat was extremely dry, and the overall quality of the food was disappointing. I do not recommend this place.

There are a real mix of reviews for this place. Here is our honest experience. We sat down at 18:35, ordered drinks at 18:40. Drinks arrived at 19:00, ordered food at 19:15. Not a great start. Food arrived at 20:00… we’re experienced at this kind of service, we live in England, and decided to only order mains, see timing above which helped enable that decision. Food was disgusting and served cold. I don’t know whether it’s fair to say this place has clearly seen better days. I think that’s a bit unfair to all of us as paying customers, I don’t think this place has ever been very good. The other restaurant in the village was fully booked when we arrived… we peaked in on the way home and enviously eyed what looked like really nice food. Oh yes, and as per previous reviews, only one log used on the fire and it was cold.

Very warm welcome, very good food, the outsides are very nice. the bedrooms are a little noisy. This hotel-restaurant is in a mediaval village where you can visit a grotto and stroll in a park

Beze is a charming village some 30 km from Dijon. The restaurant is located in a very old house by the church. The inside is actually quite big, I counted four dining rooms all in all. There were hardly any customers and we were seated in a big room with a living fire. Apparently the fire is used as a grill but we did not witness that happening. We had a 25 euro three-course dinner with a half litre of acceptable wine. Our fish was a small whole baked trout. The fish was perfectly cooked but could have used some seasoning. My apple tart with ice cream was delightful and with the attentive service, our visit was a very positive one. Good luck for the new proprietors!
