Passed by for a drink in this artisanal brewery. The visit was rather a disappointment..the choice is limited to just 2 beers one of which could not be served as it was too hot. The other one was rather simple and tasting more like a cidre and not hoppy at all so my friends were neither happy nor hippy;) we also tried rose and it was just ok and for the price of 2eur was drinkable. The view on castle is rather pleasa... View all feedback.

Warm and friendly welcome from the Dutch owners. The menu was very limited, but I would still award 5/5 as each dish was superb. On our first visit my husband was given a tour of the micro-brewery of which the owner is very proud. We sampled the beer blonde and it was delicious. The salads served here are amazing, truly the best I have ever eaten. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the following week and took some friends. We were not disappointed! If visiting the area, DO NOT miss eating here!
This is a really nice little place that serves it's own beer but beware it's 7%! The food is limited but decent though their speciality salad is a winner. We went twice and we're welcomed really nicely on both occasions. The reason for losing a star is that the service gets overwhelmed at busy times and some of the food is a little basic.Very good value though and directly across the road from our excellent campsite.
As we were staying in the campsite opposite we decided to eat here for our last night. The food was delicious and the home brewed beer was very good.
During the week's stay in the area we visited here twice once for drinks early in the evening and secondly for food when a band was playing. The first time was early evening and it was quiet - they gave our dog the star treatment (even playing with her with their hose) and their beer was good. We returned on the Monday evening and there was a band playing and there was a set menu. Some of us are vegetarian and they helpfully let us have a salad although it wasn't technically available. It became really busy that evening and unfortunately they didn't have enough waiting staff and it was very difficult to order drinks and we had to queue for ages to pay the bill. Overall I would recommend it just be careful if there is an event on as the service let them down when they got busy.
