It being Valentine's Day we didn't expect... read more I gave it 1 because I can't give it none. My partner and I decided to come in tonight to see if we could grab a table. It being Valentine's Day we didn't expect much but we got there at 8:15 and there wasn't as many people as expected, they had a large number of tables empty. We went in and asked for a table for 2. There were about 9 full tables (there are at least 19 in the restaurant), we were asked to take a seat and wait for a table. 4 people asked us if it was just the two of us within about 15 mins. We eventually got seated and were given menus, we ordered drinks quite quickly and they arrived and shortly after someone took our order. Great. However, 40 mins gone by and no sign of poppadoms or starter. 15 mind later (hour and 10 mins after arriving) we got our starter. We finish and we're waiting for the main. We order 2 more drinks. Still no food. The table next to us came in after we arrived, had been seated, served, eaten and were leaving, still we had no main. By 22:12 I asked to cancel the order and asked to pay for the starter and drinks. The waiter came back shortly after, no card machine and told us out order was ready, he was sorry and we could have it on him. I said no thanks I've been here two hours I'm too tired now I don't want it. He then went to get the card machine, told me the starters were on them. I paid £24 for drinks and left. Silly me, my dad warned me the service was appauling there and we gave it a go anyway. I'll never go back, not even if you paid me.
