However, after being served by Amber, who was excellent, I can see that they have completely transformed this place. I would definitely recommend it now. 5 stars.

When we visited on a Saturday, the res... read more If you enjoy dessert parlours specializing in ice cream, I would suggest going to Kaspas or Creams instead of this place. When we visited on a Saturday, the restaurant was nearly empty, and now I understand why. We ordered cookie dough without cream or ice cream, as well as a crepe with strawberries and ice cream. Despite there only being three occupied tables, the cookie dough arrived first with cream, which had to be sent back before coming out correctly. By the time my crepe arrived, my daughter had already finished hers, and I found the edges of the crepe to be hard and soaked in sauce. The only positive aspect was the delicious strawberries; however, the ice cream was just a scoop of plain vanilla rather than the soft-serve variety found at other establishments. The waitresses seemed disinterested, with the one making my crepe being so distracted by conversation that she nearly forgot about the cooking process. Additionally, her hygiene left something to be desired. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I recommend that others avoid it as well.

No one spoke to us at all, and it was clear that the waitress had very little knowledge of English when she couldn't answer my questions about the shakes. We ordered 2 normal shakes and 1 large shake, but they all came out the same size. When we sent the 'large' shake back to get the correct size, we had to wait another 10 minutes only to receive the same watery shake that had been sitting out. It took 25 minutes to get our food, even though there were only 3 other tables with customers - one of which had already been served. Our drinks didn't come until after our food, and it took a total of 35 minutes to receive the 'large' shake. The restaurant appeared to be clean, but the toilet could have used a good scrub and some soap and hand towels or a working dryer. The food was alright, but the waffle was undercooked and the presentation was lacking. Overall, I would not return to this restaurant and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.
