However, The Jolly Fenman excee... read more As a retired couple, it can sometimes be challenging to find a lunch spot that is both comfortable and accommodating to our age. However, The Jolly Fenman exceeds our expectations with its fantastic service that makes us feel appreciated as customers. The food is delicious, the ambience is lovely even during lunchtime, and the prices are just right. We have decided to make this our go-to spot for lunch from now on.

The previous one couldn 't even be bothered to come and talk to... read more Firstly it 's great to see the Jolly Fenman finally has a Manager who is all for the customers. The previous one couldn 't even be bothered to come and talk to us when we enquired mid Setpember about having my dad 's wake there we waited almost 2 hours! Just want to say a huge 'Thank You ' to the Jolly Fenman for a lovely Christmas Dinner. This was our first Christmas since losing Dad back in August and we decided to book dinner out not knowing what to expect. Food was lovely, with the meals coming out at the same time, even though we ordered different, and it was nice to not be rushed at any point, the pace was just right. It was also refreshing to see a manager being so hands on and working as hard as all of the rest of the staff. All staff regularly checking we were OK and asking if they could help which was genuinely appreciated. Thank you all so much, we hope you are able to enjoy the rest of your Christmas Day.
