However, we felt that only having 2 pieces was not enough and could have done with an extra prawn. The lamb biryani was also tasty, but there was not enough lamb in it. It's disappointing when restaurants skimp on the quantity of ingredients.

The naan bread has been a bit inconsistent lately, occasionally full of coconut and other times not, but it still gets eaten! The delivery times are quick, often arriving earlier than expected, which is a great bonus. Thank you!

They took too long to take our o... read more New Years Eve was my third visit to this restaurant. Once again the food was lovely. But sadly the service this time was awful. They took too long to take our order to start with. Then after we had some poppadoms for starters it took way too long for our main courses to arrive. After we had finally eaten our main courses the plates just sat there. Eventually we gave up, put our coats on and went to the bar to pay our bill. No apologies from the staff for the service or asking us if everything was ok. The staff didn't even give us our bill, they simply told us how much the bill was. We paid and left. Quite clearly they were way too short staffed for a New Years Eve. Shame that. As I say the food was lovely, but the service completely spoilt the visit.

It was fabu... read more The last time we visited this restaurant, it was called Bay of Bengal. But we decided to go back tonight because my brother recommended it. And wow! It was fabulous. The staff were fantastic and friendly, and the owner was really nice and chatty, making us feel very welcome. The food was delicious, and we have now found our new favorite restaurant.
