As a family we love to dine at saffron AND enjoy a nice takeaway from there too! The service is beyond friendly they are so accommodating and do not hesitate to go the extra mile for you. Abu always remembers me and my extended family (uncles, etc) and always takes time to speak with us to see how we are all doing. The food is simply spectacular and great value for money. Always a great place to eat. Service and food second to none.
We ordered takeaway from this restaurant and tried the tandoori king prawns, which were delicious. However, we felt that only having 2 pieces was not enough and could have done with an extra prawn. The lamb biryani was also tasty, but there was not enough lamb in it. It's disappointing when restaurants skimp on the quantity of ingredients.
We were a group of 11 people visiting this restaurant for the first time and we were very happy with the delicious food and attentive service. I would definitely recommend this place.
Staff are very friendly and always happy to help. The food is fresh, authentic and very satisfying. You will not go wrong here.

The restaurant offers a midweek special of four courses for £12.95! The atmosphere is fantastic, with the place filled with patrons enjoying the charm of this wonderful little restaurant. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes and the service is friendly. I will definitely be returning for more!
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, fresh, and served hot. The naan bread has been a bit inconsistent lately, occasionally full of coconut and other times not, but it still gets eaten! The delivery times are quick, often arriving earlier than expected, which is a great bonus. Thank you!
After some of our friends returning time and time again we thought we would give this restaurant a try , What a lovely friendly restaurant with great food , everything delivered to the table piping hot and great flavours very plentiful portions , Absolutely stuffed after 5 course set menu it was fantastic , Owner and all staff very friendly and attentive, we definitely will be returning
Rude , dismissive staff who ignore you. Can't see why these people want to run a restaurant. I think it's the money . They are not customer focused and bite off more than they can shew. Quality is poor, luke warm and bland. Try somewhere else.
Food great but staffs customer service poor. Seems like its an effort to be polite when asking about the menu.

Absolute 10/10, first time here and it was amazing! Fantastic value for money, I think it was the best curry I’ve ever eaten. We went on a Tuesday and got the Tuesday deal! I tried the set menu on a Tuesday night and was very impressed with the value and service at this restaurant.
The last time we visited this restaurant, it was called Bay of Bengal. But we decided to go back tonight because my brother recommended it. And wow! It was fabulous. The staff were fantastic and friendly, and the owner was really nice and chatty, making us feel very welcome. The food was delicious, and we have now found our new favorite restaurant.
